Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver — The Dead Shall Rise brings the world of Soul Reaver to an official prequel graphic novel. Bit Bot launched the project on Kickstarter, inviting fans to help bring the book to life.
Indivision Media created the animated video used as the campaign’s main Kickstarter asset. The film gave visitors a moving introduction to the project and a focal point for the campaign’s presentation.
For a story rooted in an established game world, the video connected the graphic novel’s artwork and atmosphere with the immediacy of motion. It brought the project beyond the printed page and into a format audiences could watch and share.

Used as the main Kickstarter asset, our video helped support a campaign that raised more than $1 million. The final Kickstarter total reached $1,496,557 against a $25,000 goal, with support from 8,836 backers.
